Dear Dr. Jon Greenberg,

We would like to thank you for helping our son Jacob. When we brought him to you one month ago, he had fluid in his ears and we had been referred to see a specialist from the pediatrician. We had been told that he was probably a candidate for ear tubes. Jacob had a small amount of fluid in his ears for a few months but had only one ear infection by the age of two. We were even told by another doctor that we should probably load him up on Antihistamines to dry up the ears. Neither of these two suggestions appealed to us. Between the side effects of Antihistamines, General Anesthesia and complications that can arise from the tubes, this was not a solution for us. We didn’t want our two year old to have to go through that. And here we were, wondering how we ended up with such a referral in the first place when our son had only one experience with an ear infection? We were determined to find a safe solution that we would all be comfortable with. 

After doing our homework and being referred to your office we were confident that you would be able to help. We just didn’t realize how quickly this would all turn around! After just four appointments and a simple non invasive procedure Jacob’s ears were “perfectly clear,” as quoted by his pediatrician. 

Dr. Jon, the way you were able to adjust Jacob while he didn’t even have to look up from his iPod that he was attached to was amazing! Just 5 seconds later and we were done. Obviously, this appealed much more to us (and Jacob) than an operating room. Jacob didn’t even realize why he was there... other than to say “Hi” to Dr. Jon!

We can not possibly thank you enough. His ears have not been free from fluid in months. The only thing we regret is not bringing Jacob to you sooner! Friends and family are amazed when they call to see how Jacob is doing and we tell them the wonderful news. You have saved us many sleepless nights. Everyone is overjoyed, relieved and truly amazed.

There are no words to express our gratitude. When the pediatrician looked into Jacob’s ears this week and said they were perfectly clear all we could do was laugh and cry. We are overjoyed, Jacob is feeling great and we can all move on from this now. We can only hope that more parents will take the time to research their options before moving forward with ear tubes. From the bottom of our hearts…..Thank you, you are truly a gift!

What was your original complaint or health problem?

A thumb injury and back pain.

How long did you have the problem and did you try anything to fix it?

Thumb injury for about 3-4 weeks.  I tried icing it and taking pain pills.  Back pain currently still hurting - taking pain medication.

How bad was it (at its worst)?

Thumb injury (on a scale of 1-10) was a 9 or 10.

Back Pain a 4 or 5.

How did it affect your life? What did it stop you from doing?

Thumb injury - I wasn't able to pitch for about 4 weeks and I lost a lot of my form.  Back - sometimes hurts when I pitch.

Why did you choose Dr. Greenberg or/and Scott Oster?

They were both referred by my mom's friend.

How are you doing now?

 My thumb is feeling so much better, there is no pain.  My back is also feeling a lot better.

How has it affected your life?

It has helped me so much.  I'm back to pitching and all sports.  I feel great!

What was your original complaint or health problem?

I was in a motor vehicle accident, the 3rd car in a 4 car pile up, the 4th car was totaled.  I had sever neck, shoulder, back and leg pain.

How long did you have the problem and did you try anything to fix it?

I was under chiro care about an hour away from here near my work.  I was getting massage and chiro care about 2 years with less pain but still chronic and at times unable to stand because of painful spasms.

How bad was it (at its worst)?

At worst the pain was a 10!  I remember being in NYC and a spasm came on and I couldn't move or stand!  This happened another time on vacation while walking on the beach.

How did it affect your life? What did it stop you from doing?

I was unable to travel without fear of spasms and unable to weight train and cycle.  I made sure I always had muscle relaxers and pain meds - just in case.

Why did you choose Dr. Greenberg or/and Scott Oster?

Dr. Jon came highly recommended from a friend under his care.  My 1st visit, he ordered an x-ray of my lower back and discovered one leg longer than the other. 

How are you doing now?

 With a simple lift in my shoe and manipulation, I was pain free within a week.

How has it affected your life?

I can sleep through the night, cycle and walk for hours at a time, lift weights, enjoy an active healthy pain-free life!

What other aspects of your health have improved?

I have seen Dr. Jon over the years for rehab of a twisted ankle and dislocated ribs and each time I needed Dr. Jon, he was there with a smile and expertise to help me heal.

We take our cars to mechanics, go to gyms & salons to look & feel good - so why not have regular maintenance of your spine - it's all about good health and feeling good.  I am so appreciative of Dr. Jon for helping me return to a healthy life without pain meds, being a pharmacist, I appreciate good health.  Thank you Dr. Jon!
